Kim James Kakadelas is an experienced attorney who has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 1982.  He received a bachelor of arts degree from Brigham Young University and his juris doctor from Southwestern University School of Law.  His practice is primarily limited to personal injury litigation, with most of his work involving motor vehicle and other types of accidents. 

His office is located in Carlsbad, north county San Diego, but he has handled cases in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Ventura County.  

He has handled thousands of claims, hundreds of arbitrations and mediations, and numerous jury trials.  The claims have varied from complicated personal injury matters involving serious injuries or death, to typical soft-tissue neck and back injuries associated with many motor vehicle accidents.  He often will take smaller cases that many attorneys simply refuse to handle because of the limited medical care or minor to moderate property damage. 

He also does other civil litigation work, including some breach of contract and collection matters. 

Mr. Kakadelas is personally involved in each and every case or matter within his office.  He has a "hands on" approach to his practice and will deal personally and directly with all of his clients.  With several children having been or still involved in Division I college sports, he has also become involved in representing student-athletes in transfer rule and other NCAA, university, or conference rule matters. 

Mr. Kakadelas takes the approach that he wants his Client to be comfortable with him and will meet with any prospective Client without charge and without any pressure to retain him.  This, he believes, allows the Client to make an informed decision and helps the Client feel comfortable with him before the Client commits to his services.
