Mr. Kakadelas feels that personal attention is what keeps a Client happy.  Because he has a small practice, he is able to provide this personal attention and service.  He enjoys helping people with the often overwhelming difficulties associated with an accident.  He tries to ensure that each of his Clients are fairly and reasonably compensated for his or her losses, including the inability to enjoy life to the extent that it was enjoyed prior to the accident.  He feels that it the paramount duty of an attorney to, in a sense, package the claim of the Client so as to maximize the recovery for these somewhat intangible losses.  This is best accomplished by his efforts to appreciate the entirety of the impact and interruption to one's life which occurs as a result of an accident.  Many attorneys do little in helping a Client deal with property damage losses, rental expenses, and other losses for which an attorney is not compensated.  Mr. Kakadelas also helps his Clients with this process by both educating the Client as to the various nuances involved in the process and by ensuring that one is treated fairly by an insurance carrier in this part of the claims process.

After working for a small civil litagation firm in Los Angeles, Kim Kakadelas started his own practice doing primarily personal injury litigation in Los Angeles.  Wanting a better family environment, he moved to San Diego more than twenty years ago and eventually moved his practice to north San Diego county.  It was a move for which he has absolutely no regrets.

Over the years, he has had a diverse variety of cases and has enjoyed helping hundreds of clients in many varying situations and has facilitated the recovery of thousands and thousands of dollars for injured parties.

With the more difficult insurance claim environment of today, is is important to have an attorney who will zealously pursue your claim and do whatever can be done to maximize the recovery.  Despite what is suggested in the media, injured parties are typically not being paid what was being paid in years past without assistance from an attorney that knows how to negotiate with an insurance company so as to fairly and adequately compensate an injured party.  These skills have been learned and developed over the many years of experience in the personal injury field.

Mr. Kakadelas tries to answer the concerns and questions of his Clients and spends much of his day on the telephone with Clients, insurance companies, and defense firms.  He believes in letting the Client be involved in the claim process and will explain the process and any unusual nuances to a Client that wants to better understand the process of his or her claim.  He firmly believes in having all of the information that he can garner from the Client as to his or her injuries so that he can use that information in obtaining a fair and equitable settlement.  He does not promise anything but simply wants his Clients to be compensated in an amount that is fair and satisfactory.  Much of what he does in claim negotiation is to determine and facilitate the proper and best method of packaging a claim for settlement.

He encourages Clients to take pictures of injuries, property that is damaged, and record changes in activity that have occurred as a result of an injury accident.  Documentation such as photographs, estimates, reports, letters, etc. are invaluable in realizing a fair settlement.  The Client is directed by Mr. Kakadelas in obtaining the necessary materials to facilitate a satisfactory resolution.
